Bathroom Rule # 51: Don't Crowd My Stall

Rule #51: Don't Crowd My Stall

In buildings where there are more than one public restroom, it is completely rude and inconsiderate to be a stall crowder. Some of us are so happy to have a bathroom to ourselves for a good number 2 in the late morning or early afternoon that it becomes a moment of clarity. A moment to relax. This great experience can be easily torn to shreds, but some thoughtless person who is too lazy to go to the bathroom on a different floor to have their own personal experience. No - rather than do that, they decide to forget that someone else is in there taking a dump already and crowd them by going to the other stall right next to the person who was in their moment of zen.

DON'T DO THAT! If you walk into the bathroom and someone is already in a stall, DO NOT enter the stall next to them. You'll ruin their day. Instead, either go to a different bathroom or wait outside. The one exception to this rule is that if there is a buffer stall in between where you would go and the other person has already been. You are safe to go then. Otherwise - DON'T CROWD THE STALLS!

There is nothing that can make a number 2 taking experience more uncomfortable
